Ring Management tools may allow you to collect personal identifying information (name, e-mail address, URL, etc.) from Ring and Queue Members for your ring. By using these tools, you agree not to use any personal identifying information you collect for any unlawful purpose or any purpose other than management of your Ring.

Ringmaster Contact Information
Enter your real name and e-mail address below. You may also specify any number of ringmaster "helpers", if you wish, by listing their e-mail addresses separated by a space. E-mail sent by the Webring system, when replied to, will go to both the primary ringmaster and the helpers. Mail sent to ringmaster- danireland@webring.org will also be sent to all addresses.

Ring Logo
Enter the URL for your ring logo (which will appear in the upper right hand corner of the screen), followed by the image width and height in pixels. If you do not have a ring logo, the regular Webring logo will be used instead. (In the past, logo dimensions were not required. However, leaving them out (as almost all users did) makes each page of the system take longer to load.)

Ring Options
The following ring options may be enabled or disabled.

New Windows For Non-Management Functions Many links in management take you from management and may cause you to lose your session and get locked out. By selecting this option, you can prevent this from happening by allowing those links to appear in a seperate browser window.
No User Queue Additions
This option prevents anyone other than the ringmaster from adding sites to the queue. Keep in mind that this option is almost totally useless as it prevents people from trying to join the ring--with this enabled, they would have to e-mail you and have you submit their site to the queue and then insert it in the ring. It's included only for completeness.
No User Ring Insertions
This option prevents anyone other than the ringmaster from adding sites in the queue to the ring. This allows ringmasters to control what sites join the ring.
Notify Ringmaster of Queue Additions
This option will cause the Webring to send the ringmaster(s) e-mail every time a site is submitted to the queue.
Notify Ringmaster of Ring Additions
This option will cause the Webring to send the ringmaster(s) e-mail every time a site is added to the ring.
Test URLs for New Sites
This option will make the Webring test URLs for sites submitted to the queue. If the page does not exist or is unreachable, the site will not be added and the user will get complained at.
Do not require keywords
This will allow people to submit sites to the queue without entering keywords for their site. (By default, if they are not provided, the user will be prompted for them.)
Do not require descriptions
This will allow people to submit sites to the queue without entering a description of their site. (By default, this is required as well.)
Hide e-mail addresses
This will hide ring members' e-mail addresses on the index and queue pages.
Receive Promotional and Informational E-mail
This will allow WebRing to send e-mail directly to you regarding information, new ideas, promotions, and features. This is not general e-mail, it is specific to WebRing. It will be used with discretion. We have no intention of selling this list to a third party.

Queue Auto-expire
The Queue Auto-expire function will automatically remove sites from the queue after they have been there for a specific number of days (configured below). This is useful as it automatically weeds out those people that submit their sites but never join th e ring. When someone is removed, an e-mail is sent to them to notify them of their removal. This message can be changed in Customize Ring Pages. You will also have the same message sent to you.

Enable Queue Auto-expire
Send notification e-mail to removed site
It is highly recommended that you enable this option so that sites know when they are no longer being considered. You can change this message by customizing the form queueexpire_sitenotify.
Send notification e-mail to ringmaster

Weeks: (Maximum number of weeks a site will remain in the queue before it is removed.)
